Picture Study: Van Gogh

We have started wrapping up our school year. This week we ended our artist study. 🎨 We try to add art to our morning time once a week. All three kids loved studying Van Gogh. I think this was their favorite Picture Study series. They have always loved the Spot the Differences books. Getting children to study the details in a painting is a great way for them to remember the artwork. I personally really enjoyed the Art History book. I think studying history through Art is one of the best ways to recall history. Especially if you’re a visual learner. This book worked great alongside our Story of the World lessons too.
