Can you believe it’s already July?!
Need a quick and easy dessert that makes plenty for the holiday weekend? I love using bisquick when I’m in a hurry. It usually means less ingredients. I was craving blackberry cobbler, my all time favorite, but used frozen blueberries we picked last month instead. Perfect recipe to celebrate the holiday and use up those blueberries!
Recipe:
1 stick of butter
2 pints of blueberries (thawed or fresh)
1 tbs of cinnamon
1 cup of sugar
1 1/3 cups of milk
2 1/2 cups of bisquick
Directions:
Put one stick of butter in a 13 x 9 glass pan and place in oven as it warms up to 350 degrees.
Mix your milk, sugar, and bisquick.
Take pan out of oven, butter should be melted.
Pour half of the batter in pan over the buttery goodness.
Pour all those beauiful blueberries on top! Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Pour the remainig half of the batter over the blueberries.
Bake for an 50-60 minutes at 350.
Serve with vanilla icecream or whipped cream. delish!
Enjoy!
…and Happy 4th of July!
