Howdy! Very excited to enter the blogging world! Quick bit about me: I am my best friend’s bride, mommy to two, and designer/seamstress in my spare time aka naptime. I love turning something old or unwanted into something new and beautiful. I think we all have a purpose in life. Ironically, I struggle to find mine sometimes but I do know “mother” is at the top of that list. I am passionate about my family and home. Anything I can do to make my family happy and my home cheery brings a smile to my heart. I have been a stay at home mother for one year now and that is an accomplishment in itself! I grew up in a military family, but having lived in Florida for over half my life, I consider myself a southern gal. I love to bake but struggle with cooking. And I come from a family of great cooks. My food posts will definitely be simple, easy recipes that Ive tried as I build confidence in the kitchen. I think my baby girl is a foodie so I better step up my game! I am also starting to enjoy photography but should probably invest in a better camera, sorry for the lousy mobile pics, that will get better over time. I hope to share my life experiences as I discover domestic bliss and connect with others through this blog.
